This week we will be thinking about how to describe a medieval manuscript properly and completely. After discussing how to do so, we will spend much of the class in small groups with with Carleton's two manuscripts. By the end of the class, you should have a sense of what sort of details to look for in seeking to catalogue your own folios.&#x20;
